IRCM is largely made up of volunteers and we have an incredible team of people from a host of different professional backgrounds and part of the sector. We are now expanding that team and have three exciting opportunities:
- Certificate of Proficiency Group members – we’re expanding our existing team to help develop the assessment that will demonstrate a case manager’s understanding of and ability to apply the Standards of Proficiency in real life situations.
- CPD Accreditation Service Panel Members – a new role and a chance to be part of a key step in the development of an educational pathway for case management with the accreditation of CPD for case managers.
- Panel Members – Registration and Conduct – we’re expanding our existing team, members of which form panels as needed to support the fitness to practise and registration processes, a vital part of maintaining the integrity of the Register.
The roles being advertised operate independently of the IRCM Board, Committees and Groups when making decisions. However, their decisions feed into the Committees which are responsible for the policies, procedures and guidance they work within and for reflecting on the collective outcomes to identify learning for the organisation and registrants.
Our group and panel members will play a critical role in achieving our mission, contributing to our work of safeguarding the public. Each role will do this in different ways and I strongly encourage you to read the role purpose, main duties and people profiles contained in the packs.
We are seeking:
- lay members – people who may not be or have previously been a Registered Case Manager, nor be or have previously been eligible for registration; and
- registrant members – people eligible to become a registered case manager and who intend to do so or have done so. If you are eligible, but yet to apply for registration you can find more information here.
These are voluntary roles and reasonable expenses will be refunded in line with our policies. Meetings are generally held online but appointees should be able to attend meetings in person if needed.
Those interested should download the application pack related to their preferred role(s). Please get in touch if you’d like to discuss the roles further.
