At the Institute of Registered Case Managers (IRCM), we have a number of official logos to reflect different relationships with our organisation, whether you’re a Registered Case Manager, a Supporter, an Ally, or one of our Founders.

Just like other professional registers and statutory regulators, we have clear rules around logo use. This helps prevent confusion, protect the public, and maintain the credibility of the register.

Which logo should you use?

Here’s a breakdown of different IRCM logos and who they’re for:

Registrant Logo

If you’re a Registered Case Manager, you can use the official IRCM Registrant Logo—but only while your registration is active and you’re in good standing. You’re encouraged to show your status in places like your business card, website, email signature, or social media profile.

Just one thing to keep in mind: it should be clear the logo refers to you, the registrant—not your employer or organisation.

Supporter/Ally Logos

Organisations who are official supporters or allies and support IRCM’s mission can use the relevant Supporter or Ally Logo. These show alignment with our goals, but they don’t mean the organisation is endorsed or certified by IRCM.

Founder Logo

This logo is exclusive to our founding organisations: BABICM, CMSUK, and VRA. It’s not available for general use.

Corporate Logo

This is our primary logo and must never be used without written permission from IRCM.

You can expect to see more IRCM logos in the future as we start to accredit training and open the Pre-Registrant Pathway.

For Employers and Organisations

If a team member is a Registered Case Manager, you’re welcome to share that whether it’s a new registration or as part of a staff feature or CV. With their permission, you can use the Registrant Logo to highlight their status. Just be sure it clearly refers to the individual, not your organisation as a whole.

What not to do

To protect the integrity of the IRCM brand please don’t:

  • Alter the logo in any way, including its colour, shape, or text. The logo must always appear on a white or neutral background to preserve visibility and integrity, and must not be placed over patterns or images that obscure its clarity;
  • Use the logo to imply organisational registration or endorsement by IRCM;
  • Use the logo on products, certificates, or commercial materials;
  • Display the logo in any context that misrepresents IRCM’s role or brings the Institute of Registered Case Managers into disrepute;
  • Apply the IRCM logo (or any similar mark) as a trademark or brand element for their business.

Why It Matters

Whether you’re an individual registrant, a supporter, or part of an organisation that aligns with our mission, it’s important to accurately represent your relationship with IRCM.

Misuse of our logos—even unintentionally—can mislead the public and undermine trust in the profession. In serious cases, it could lead to removal from the Register, withdrawal of supporter/ally status, or even legal action.

Not Sure What’s Okay?

If you’re unsure whether your use of the logo is appropriate—or if you’ve noticed a potential misuse—please reach out to us at hello@ircm.org.uk. We’re happy to help.
